The STA Debate Club meets on Tuesday at lunch throughout the school year. It is comprised of students from all grades and is open to all. The students are randomly selected to be on opposing sides of an issue that is chosen by themselves or presented to them by the moderator. No topic is too sensitive or radical: besides the classic abortion debates and generic bathrooms, the club has tackled ethical issues such as stem cell research and atheism
It is time to voice your opinion and not be shut down!!
