STA Rowing club

Food Collection

There is a food collection for the shelter on Thursday! If you would like to care for those in need, you can bring homemade sandwiches or baked goods to the Campus Ministry office this Thursday before school starts. Please make sure each item is individually wrapped. You will receive one service hour for every 12 home made items. There will also be collections on Friday, September 25th and Thursday, October 8th. Thank you for feeding the hungry!

Attention Students: If you would like to start gaining Service Hours, there is an event this Sunday, September 20, from 730am – 1pm at Holy Trinity Parish (2775 Lonsdale Avenue), called the monthly Pancake Breakfast. All students are encouraged to attend Homecoming with their families on Thursday, September 17 from 3:30 – 7:30 pm. We start off the night with the season opener of the Senior Girls Volleyball team in the STA gym vs. West Van Secondary. After the game, make sure you join us for the Party in the Parking Lot featuring: live music, free gelato, food trucks, a car display and face painting. Wear red, gold, white or black on Thursday and don’t forget a twoonie or a canned good. Come out and show you …

If you ran a club last year and would like to run the same club this year, please ensure you have a staff sponsor. You must speak to them to confirm they will sponsor your club and let them know if you would like to run a booth during Club’s day. If you are interested in starting a new club, you must pick up an application form from Mrs. Purkiss in the main office. The deadline to submit applications for new clubs is Wednesday September 16.
